Named for Milton, Amanda's grandfather. In the 1950s and '60s he commuted every week from the Stockbridge-Munsee Mohican reservation in Wisconsin to weld for Harley-Davidson®. We made his coat the way he worked: nothing rushed, nothing wasted.

The shell is 10.10 oz Martexin Army Duck wax canvas in Orange, woven by a family that has supplied the US military for seven generations. Inside is 32 oz un-napped wool in Pendleton®'s Smith Rock pattern, which takes its colors from the rock faces of Smith Rock in central Oregon. The sleeves are quilted satin. Every brass button carries the GINEW leaf, cast from a leaf of the white oak Amanda and Erik married under.

Modern fit. Two side pockets, two chest pockets and an inside chest pocket. Made in USA.
