In the 1930s, Amanda's grandfather and his cousins worked in the Mohican CCC Indian Division, building the roads, bridges and stone houses of the Stockbridge-Munsee reservation in northern Wisconsin. This shirt is based on the one he wears in a photograph of that crew. We are still grateful for the homes they built.
The Mountain Pass stripe takes its browns and oranges from sun coming through a mountain pass. Soft 8 oz cotton, chambray inside the collar for light structure, commercial-grade buttons. Cut and sewn in Los Angeles by a small family-owned shop.
